You will love the sparkles so much!! 🤩 They will be glinting in your window or on your patio. Reminding you that: Tomorrow is another day. Life and hope spring eternal. AND when life hands you a bunch of crap, roll it up in ball, and make your future happen. 😂☀️😎 It's a lovely gift for a friend or to yourself to feel renewed whenever you see it.
Check out my BRAND NEW baby—my newest wire wrapped Suncatcher design! 😍 💎 Featuring delicious gemstones of Peridot, Lemon Quartz, London Blue Topaz, Prehnite, and ultra-sparkly Swarovski crystals sprinkled throughout. Natural oxidation may occur, which just adds a lovely antiqued patina to the piece.
All handmade by me! Featuring soldering work on the body as well as the orb housing the "Sun" (Yellow Quartz dangle). The wing-details proved to be much more challenging than I first imagined, so this is going to be a one-of-a-kind piece. I chose a color-scheme that reminds me of what I see in Egyptian art: ultramarine blues, bright oranges/reds and greens, and golden colors as well. The Crystals in the lower part of the wings are an ombre/gradient yellow to clear. This project was very involved, and I not only feel quite proud of the finished piece, but also quite attached to it. It has a special place in my heart. ❤️
Every single aspect of this Egyptian Scarab Beetle was conceived, sketched on paper, designed, hand-formed from different gauges of solid Copper wire, hammered and wrapped together by me. It's my BABY! 😝
It's absolutely LOADED with sparkly, glittering bits of beauty. I promise you will love it so much hanging in your window or on your patio with the sun shining on it. So incredibly sparkly. If you hang it indoors, direct sunlight causes tiny little rainbow flecks to shoot all across the walls in the room. 😍 Fantastic as gifts or just as a treat for yourself to brighten your day every time you glance at it sparkling in the sun. ☺️
I work tirelessly and put so much meticulous care and attention into my Suncatchers, and it warms my heart to, over the years, have customers who cherish and love the pieces they've taken home.
☀️ Symbolism & Meaning: The Scarab beetle rolls balls of dung across the ground and lays their eggs within, to begin life anew. This act was seen by the Egyptians much like how their god of the rising sun, Kephri, was thought to roll the sun across the sky. Kephri was often depicted as a Scarab or a Scarab-headed man. His name, derived from the verb kheper, means develop/come into being, or to change, to exist, to create, to bring about, etc. Thus, the Scarab Beetle came to represent rebirth, regeneration, and creation. ☀️
